A new web, and a new era for HK Hydraulics

A simple start

In 2011, father and son, Erik and Niklas Anens decided to start a business together. Niklas knew that Parker wanted presence in Umeå and as a former Parker employee the natural choice was to start a Parker store. Erik had a long background from forestry machines and mobile hydraulics, his skills combined with Niklas experience with hydraulics and electronics from his years at Parker was a good foundation to build a company around. It started in a small warehouse in Umeå with a modest stock of hydraulic and electronic components. In 2015 the first employee was hired and the company moved to a bigger warehouse. The idea for a e commerce came early, not many competitors at the time had an online store so there was great potential. The first e commerce was setup in a simple open source solution back in 2012.

An expansive phase

After the pandemic of the 2020’s Hydraulkompaniet entered an expansive phase with several new employees and the MCI (Mobile Control Interface) was released on the market. The company was outgrowing its locally anchored brand and in 2023 the project to produce a new brand profile was initiated. In 2024 project with a new website and online store started.

Looking forward

We are facing som really exciting years ahead with large OEM accounts trusting us with developing various system solutions and components. Our passion is to work closely with customers and help them improve their machines when it comes to performance, ergonomics and functional safety. Beside the OEM projects, we see a rapid growth from the e commerce side, more and more companies starts to source parts online. Our new website will help us forward and meet the needs from customers on the aftermarket globally.
